HER ZONE is committed to shaping-lives with safe and creative-practices, education and QUALITY support. We are purposeful and intentional when aligning our organization with leaders that want the BEST for young women, especially Black-women.
GOODWorks holds its mission in empowering women in recovery from the criminal justice system. We assist in making positive behavioral and lifestyle changes that foster personal growth and create a safe and stable environment for women and their children.
GOODWorks also assists incarcerated young women ranging from 18 -25 years old at York Correctional Institute in Niantic, Connecticut. Offering one-to-one and group mentoring support focusing on positivity, creating self-worth, and envisioning a better life after prison.

The YaaY-You Inner Beauty/Outer Wellness Blogazine. Marcella’s Blogazine has been viewed over 2.1 million times and because of the vast support and engagement, this led to the creation of her first inspirational spoken album "YaaY-You: Notes To Self, An Audio Conversation”
Marcella is also the creative half of the Production/Songwriting duo, “Lady And A Tramp” with her husband Terence "Trampbaby" Abney. Marcella is a Billboard Top 10 recognized creative, BMI award recipient and has lent her talents to countless film and television scores, and is a Grammy nominated-talent.
HER ZONE, INC. is a Connecticut-based 501c3 nonprofit organization that aims to empower young women-of-color aged 13-18 in under-resourced communities, in the judicial system, and transitioning from incarceration into society. Our grassroots initiative is dedicated to improving the mental, physical, and economic wellness of these young women.
